Cinthia loves to help with the younger children in the house. She is a hard worker in school and at home. She loves funny stories and is always giggling about something. She is a good friend and listener.

Bio

Before joining us at Por Los Niños, Cinthia was living in the mountains. Her family is very poor and lives in a one-room hut consisting of plywood sheets and a dirt floor. She has three other half-siblings.

When Cinthia was first brought to us she had several different parasites, serious malnutrition and a contagious skin infection. After the doctor treated her skin infection, Cinthia joined us but struggled to fit in during her first few years at the village. She was the victim of emotional abuse and was very shy and with withdrawn.

However, with time, patience and a lot of love, Cinthia has emerged as a sincere and bubbly young woman. She is full of laughter and always smiling. She is also a wonderful student and very helpful around the house.
