Board Member, Hayden, Alabama

Dr. Shew is the Associate Provost and a Professor of Biology at Birmingham-Southern College.  

He and his wife Rebecca have two adopted daughters, Amanda and Trella.  Both have been supporters of Por Los Niños for a number of years.  He serves as the Deacon overseeing mission activities at the Decatur Highway Church of Christ in Gardendale, Alabama, and regularly teaches adult Bible classes.
