Our Board

Harry Hodges
Dr. Hodges is a Mississippi State Professor emeritus. He has
three children and has also done foster care for nearly 20
years. He has been involved for nearly 50 years with various
children’s homes and has supported them in various ways. Dr.
Hodges has served on the boards of other children’s homes
and held office positions in other childcare organizations. Harry
has also attended and organized many different education
programs involving parenting and childcare needs.

Doris London
Doris is the mother of four daughters, 15 grandchildren and 3
great-grandchildren. After Doris and her husband retired from
teaching in 1992, they became foster parents for Agape in 1990.
Soon after that she began to help the Hilton's in the planning
stages of PLN. She has been a volunteer through the years for
PLN and has visited Honduras numerous times.

Jennie Randolph
Jennie has bachelors and masters' degrees in nursing.  She
has been a nurse since 1970.  Jennie recently retired from
teaching nursing at Parkland College for the past 27 years.  She
became involved with Family Life Missions on the first work
team in 1994.  Jennie is married to Ray Randolph, has several
grandchildren

Carol Echols
Carol has been an avid supporter of Por Los Niños since she
first came in contact with the organization in 1998. Shortly
afterward, Carol made her first trip to Honduras. Since then she
has gone on various other missions trips to many parts of the
world teaching and assisting the needy. Carol has a degree in
Occupational Therapy from the University of Alabama and is a
Spanish speaker. She is married to Robert Echols, MD and has
two sons and several grandchildren. Carol loves the children
of PLN.


Jim Wright
Dr. Jim serves as the Executive Director of Childhaven, Inc, in
Cullman, AL. He has been with Childhaven since 1993. His
previous work experiences include: serving as Senior
Minister, Woodstock Church of Christ in Georgia; Senior
Minister, North Central Church of Christ, Indianapolis, IN;
Minister, Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ,  Ashland City, TN;
Counselor, Limited Private Practice. Jim has many professional
qualifications, including being a member and former member of
several boards, clubs, committees, and associations.
Furthermore, Jim often speaks widely on child welfare issues
and is active in short term missions around the world. Jim is an
active elder of the Cullman Church of Christ. He and wife,
Deborah, were married in 1973 and have three children. Their
youngest just graduated from college.


Wayne Shew
Dr. Shew is the Associate Provost and a Professor of Biology at
Birmingham-Southern College.  He and his wife Rebecca have
two adopted daughters, Amanda and Trella.  Both have been
supporters of Por Los Niños for a number of years.  He serves
as the Deacon overseeing mission activities at the Decatur
Highway Church of Christ in Gardendale, Alabama, and regularly
teaches adult Bible classes.  He looks forward to more active
engagement with the efforts of Family Life Missions and the
children of PLN.

Greg Wolff
Greg Wolff is an Aeronautical Engineer for the Boeing Company
in St. Louis, MO. Greg grew up in northern Indiana and has
worked for Boeing since graduating from Purdue University in
1970. Greg has been married to Brenda for 35 years. They have
two children, Jeremy and Jennifer. They are members of the
McKnight Road Church of Christ in St. Louis. They are currently
members of the McKnight Missions Committee and have also
served over the years as foster parents, children’s Sunday
School teachers, and Children’s Worship Hour leaders.  Greg
has participated in several work teams to PLN since his first in
June 2006. Greg says he is “really excited about the FLM
ministry in Catacamas, it is especially rewarding to see the
children responding to the love and the healthy, Christian
Family life provided at the village.“
