Noé Sanchez
Noé came to Por Los Ninos at 5 years old, with his sister, Blanca.  Their mother abandoned them 2 ½
years prior to coming to PLN.  Noé’s father, a Church of Christ minister in the village of Coyote, struggled
alone to provide and care for his four children.  This Christian family suffered from desperate poverty with
little hope of relief.  Noé was often left alone with his siblings while their father searched for work to feed his
family.  Noé had never traveled from the tiny village from which they were born.  Noé’s family lived in a stick
and mud one room hut with a dirt floor and no running water.  The only furniture was one narrow cot for the
entire family.  Upon admittance to the home, Noé suffered from parasites and malnutrition.

Unfortunately, Noé’s sister
, Blanca, is no longer at PLN I with him.  Noé, however, continues to strive.  He
has recently become a Christian and is turning into a handsome young man.  Noé is studying mechanics
and is very good at working with his hands.  His latest project included learning to weld.  Noé’s father now
works for PLN and he and Noé have a special bond.  Noé truly is grateful for the future PLN has given him.
