Enia Padilla
We recently took in two sisters, Enia and Belkis into PLN III. There are a total of 10 siblings in the family.
Enia, the younger sister, was very sick upon first entering PLN. We were concerned at the beginning
because she always seemed so listless. She is now doing great and laughing and playing with the other
children. Enia has a laid-back personality and will go to anyone who is willing to give her attention. She is
talking, but most of what she says is not understandable at this point. Elda, her house mom even struggles
to understand her.
Enia loves to eat and adores milk. She was a little anemic, had a bad cough and of course had parasites
when she first arrived. She is being treated with medication and is responding well.
Everyone at PLN adores Enia!
